World Ministries announces partnership with national recording artists FFH
With career sales of more that 1 million, seven #1 radio hits, 17 top 5 singles
and multiple Dove Award nominations – FFH members Jeromy and Jennifer Deibler,
Brian Smith, and Michael Boggs have placed themselves among Christian music’s
elite. But while the band is poised to impact the mainstream, they are more
committed than ever to making music that reflects their faith in Jesus Christ.
“Our biggest reward is seeing people’s lives changed,” Brian says. “If
we weren’t able to see that happening every night, it would be difficult to
keep doing what we do. We are excited for the opportunity to work with Sports
World Ministries as they are about reaching the kids and changing hearts … and
in today’s society, sports and music are two big influences in today’s
youth.”
Devon McDonald, the Director of Pro Relations and Fund Development for SWM adds
that “Sports World and FFH are a part of Christ’s body and His work. Like
the bird needs its feathers so does one member need another. So for us to work
together in spreading the gospel to the youth of America it gives glory to the
Father.”
“More than ever, we know that God has called us to reach people, and we
can’t do that effectively by staying inside the walls of the church every
night,” Jeromy adds. “But wherever we go, we want people to know who we are
and that we love Christ. That’s still what it’s all about, and it always
will be.”
After just four events under there belt, FFH and Sports World agree that this
has become a great fit. "We started off with a bang in Liberal, KS, with
over 4000 in attendance, and we got to witness almost 450 students give thier
hearts to Jesus" Brian says. "We can't wait to do more of these
events."

FFH TO RELEASE NEW POP STUDIO ALBUM VOICE FROM HOME DEC 27, 2005
Project Inspired by Pastor and Author Rich Stevenson
(Nashville, Tenn.) November 9, 2005 – Christian recording artist FFH will release its sixth studio album Voice From Home on Essential Records Dec. 27, 2005. The project features original pop songs with a cohesive theme of God speaking to His people. This theme comes from the mentorship of FFH frontman Jeromy Deibler by pastor and author Rich Stevenson through which the close-knit band drew inspiration.
Stevenson’s book, titled “A Voice From Home,” (Waterbrook Press, Sept. 2005) evoked conversation with Deibler, and further discussion with all member of FFH. Deibler and his band mates then wrote songs they describe as the other side of worship. Rather than writing songs to God, FFH wrote songs from God in words of encouragement, hope and love as expressed through biblical scriptures.
“Every song on the album is routed in scripture, but it’s designed so you can listen to the Father’s voice in common everyday language,” says Deibler. “The songs on the album are in first person; it’s God talking to his people.”
FFH plans to tour with Stevenson holding church events that feature scriptural teachings from Stevenson’s book with music from Voice From Home. FFH has garnered seven No. 1 radio singles including “Still The Cross” and seven GMA Music Award nominations since their debut in 1998.
