ATEEZ boldly responded to the criticism they received against their musical appeal after returning from their world tour, The Fellowship.

Here’s everything you need.

ATEEZ shares his stance on his musical journey

ATEEZ sat down with Yonhap News in Seoul for an interview on March 23rd. In addition, the group talked about their experiences after touring different countries.

The group shared stories of how happy they were to meet and connect with fans who supported them from all over the world.

However, during the interview, the journalist pointed out that the group has not yet had a hit song that is popular around the world.

This more or less referred to how the band’s musical appeal was somehow limited to Korea only and did not receive much attention from other countries.

But Hongjoong, the leader of the group, disagreed with the criticism. He calmly explained that they should focus on keeping their essence.

He said, ‘That’s something we always think about, but even so, I would say that it will be difficult for ATEEZ to undergo such a radical change just for the sake of having a winning song, a song that can satisfy 100% . public.’

In addition, he stated, ‘We want to keep the ATEEZ frame while continuing to make music that will earn the sympathy of many listeners around the world.’

On the other hand, San also spoke a few words about the issue.

He said, ‘It is a constant dilemma for us to appeal to the general public. But that’s why we make ATEEZ music.’

San added, ‘So, I think if we continue on this path we’ve decided to take, someday, maybe people will start to notice us.’

Fans react to ATEEZ’s bold response to criticism

ATEEZ fans were proud of the members who stood up for themselves and the kind of music they made.
