Ferne McCann was teary-eyed as she confided in pal James Argent in the first episode of ITVBe’s First Time Mum. It was released on Wednesday night.
In addition, she called the leaked voice note scandal ‘the lowest moment’. In addition, she admitted that she had been undergoing therapy since the incident.

McCann said she was a ‘different person’ and the famous memos took place six years ago when she was in a ‘vulnerable situation’.
She said, ‘It was definitely not my best time. It was definitely a difficult time in my life when those voice notes were leaked.’
In addition, she continued, ‘But I must take this opportunity to publicly apologize again to those who have been affected.’
The former TOWIE star, 32, said: ‘Obviously the words I used were unpleasant. I have contacted those people privately.’
She explained, ‘These voice notes came from a time when I was very vulnerable. It was a very difficult situation for me five or six years ago.’
McCann said, ‘I’ve been in therapy for six years and I feel like a different person.’

More on the Ferne McCann leaked voice memo scandal
An anonymous Instagram account shared several voice notes claiming to be from Ferne McCann back in November 2022.
Additionally, the account apparently named after the person who shared Bridgerton’s secret gossip was called Lady Whistledown.
Meanwhile, in the audio clips, we can hear McCann allegedly making disparaging comments about his former TOWIE co-stars Sam Faiers and Billie Shepherd.
In addition, she also went on to talk about the acid attack victim of her ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins, Sophie Hall.
Don unversed, Hall prevented her scars and she reached the final of the Miss England final more than two years after the bowel attack.
On the other hand, Collins is sentenced to spend 20 years behind bars. He threw acid in April 2017 in a nightclub in East London. The incident left fourteen people injured.
In addition, acid attack victim Hall blamed McCann for his ‘insecure’ apology recently. She allegedly called Hall ‘ugly’ in the leaked audio clips.
