Hamas supports escalating resistance against occupation – Middle East Monitor


The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced on Friday that it is proposing to increase resistance to the Israeli occupation, which has intensified its crimes against Palestine, Al-Resalah reporting newspapers.

This came in press statements given by senior Hamas leader Musa Abu Marzouq, who emphasized that the Sharm El-Sheikh meeting intends to stand against Palestine.

Regarding the efforts of Europe and the US to de-escalate Israel’s violations against the Palestinians, Abu Marzouq criticized: “The Europeans do not take practical measures to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its crimes.”

He said on the security coordination between the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the Israeli occupation: “The security coordination is based on giving information about the Palestinian resistance to the occupation. The Palestinian Authority should know that there is coordination with the Palestinians more important than security. coordination with the Israeli occupation.”

Abu Marzouq revealed that his movement supports the hunger striker Khader Adnan, who is in illegal administrative detention inside Israeli prisons.
Regarding his visit to Moscow, Abu Marzouq said that the two sides discussed the latest developments regarding Palestine and the Israeli occupation forces, as well as the increasing crimes of the colonial settlers in the occupied West Bank under the cover of the extremist Israeli government.
