Man killed, three lightly hurt as two cars and truck collide in West Bank


A man was killed Wednesday in a collision between two cars and a truck on Route 60, near the settlement of Shiloh on the northwest Bank.

Fire and rescue services freed the man from the wreckage at the accident.

Doctors from the Magen David Adom ambulance service said he was found unconscious with multiple, serious wounds. First responders were forced to pronounce him dead at the scene.

Two other Israelis who were slightly injured in the accident were taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem.

A Palestinian man was also slightly injured and taken for treatment by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

Police closed the road at Sinjil Junction due to the accident.

According to the latest data from the National Road Safety Authority, 92 people have been killed on Israel’s roads since the beginning of 2023.
