Rubi Rose was criticized by fans for tweeting “Ready for Ramadan” on Monday night (March 20). Due to Rubi Rose’s provocative profile picture, fans objected to her tweeting about the holy month. As her Ramadan post, the rapper’s Twitter avatar showed her bent over with an arm covering her nether regions looking back at the camera.

Some cited a previous tweet from Rubi Rose in which she implied she was a Christian. Rubi even shared an image a few hours later of herself wearing a hijab and covering her hair and rumored to be dating rapper French Montana. Additionally, she changed her Twitter profile picture to a red circle. While Rubi Rose didn’t directly address the backlash, she did retweet City Girl JT’s statement I love learning the hard way.
