Tekashi 6ix9ine was physically attacked in the sauna at a gym in South Florida

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office reported earlier this week that Tekashi 6ix9ine was taken to a local hospital. He is said to have been attacked by a group of people in a gym sauna in South Florida.

Lance Lazzaro, the rapper’s attorney, spoke to NBC News about the incident.

He said, ‘Three or four thugs attacked him in a sauna at a gym (he tried to fight back),’

Furthermore, he continued, ‘Employees heard the commotion and the criminals fled.’

Lazzaro stated, ‘South Florida police were called and he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital.’

Meanwhile, Tekashi 6ix9ine was labeled a ‘snitch’ after testifying for prosecutors in 2018 against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods and Cardi B.

The rapper accepted the deal to reduce his sentence after being indicted on several charges. However, in the end he ended up spending two years behind bars. He served time in federal prison until April 2020.

Tekashi 6ix9ine was facing a minimum sentence of 47 years and a maximum of life in prison when he was taken into custody in 2018.

He was convicted of nine charges including racketeering, possession of firearms, armed robbery, and attempted murder due to his ties to the Nine Trey Bloods gang.
